Stand Together Against COVID-19

As we all commit ourselves to battle the CoronaVirus, the biggest calamity has struck the poor people, Homeless, Street & Slum & Person with Disability'' families that have been severely impacted by the virus and the lockdowns caused because of it in India. At RSKS India, we don't wish to leave any stone unturned to do whatever we can to reduce the struggles of all Poor.

As we all are aware of the pandemic Novel COVID-19 that has engulfed the entire world, and poses a serious threat to the well-being and mobility of each individual. COVID-19 can cause mild to severe illness; most severe illness occurs in older adults. At RSKS India we are extremely concerned and conscious about the health of our employees as well as our partners, Donors and thousands of beneficiaries who are a part of the family and to ensure, this RSKS Team members are also doing awareness programs at all our workshops and training centre to ensure the safety of people. RSKS India encourages everyone to take precautions by social distancing, following proper sanitary protocols and reaching out to health authorities in suspected cases.

We would also like to take this opportunity to reiterate the World Health Organisation guidelines and urge you to take the necessary precautions to safeguard yourself from COVID-19;

• Wash your hands frequently with soap and water
  
• Keep an alcohol-based sanitizer within reach
  
• Use a mask if you are coughing or sneezing
  
• Avoid touching your face
  
• Avoid crowded places and close contact with people who are unwell or showing symptoms of illness
  
• Seek medical attention promptly if you are feeling unwell

At RSKS India, we don't wish to leave any stone unturned to do whatever we can to reduce the struggles of all Poor.

Type of Beneficiaries: Our target group people are marginalized and nomadic community, students, poor farmers, remote area people and the criteria for selection will be that the kit will be distributed to only those people who are poor and needy and cannot afford to protect themselves from this epidemic situation.

The women and girl trainees of Vocational education program organised by RSKS INDIA are Preparing and Distributing "#Masks" in the different villages/locations. This is a small effort done to fight against Covid-19 as these masks will provide help in protecting more and more people.

COVID-19 Awareness

Small efforts that already making done by RSKS India to ensure this we have also doing awareness programs at all our slum & rural to ensure the safety of people. We are spreading the awareness about how to be safe during this time with the help of flipcharts, puppet/Card shows, social media, etc. More than 500 people have been reached and been aware about this situation by 21st march 2020.

RSKS India is always working for the society at the time of any natural disaster whether it be Kerala Flood, Rajasthan Flood or the Nepal Earthquake. Disasters relief are one of our core focus areas.

One of the RSKS India's Social Warriors Mrs. Meenu PWD (Person with Disability) gave small but impactful contribution through Making the MASK for community safety from COVID19. she making more than 700 MASK and distribute to the Needy people.
